Privacy Policy

Orange Line Ventures ("we," "us") operates this website at orangelineventures.com. We designed it to collect as little about you as possible.

What this site collects

• Very little directly. This is a static website with no accounts, logins, or forms that submit data to us through the site itself. It does use two measurement tools, described in "Advertising & analytics" below, so we can tell how people find us and whether our ads work.
• Hosting logs. The site is served by our hosting provider (GitHub Pages, operated by GitHub, Inc.), which may log standard technical information such as IP addresses for security and operational purposes. See GitHub's privacy statement.
• Fonts. Pages load typefaces from Google Fonts. When your browser requests the font files, Google may process technical data such as your IP address. See Google's privacy policy.

Advertising & analytics

We advertise on LinkedIn and want to know whether those ads (and the site) actually work. For that, this site loads two third-party measurement tools, which may set cookies or use pixels in your browser:

• LinkedIn Insight Tag (LinkedIn Corporation). Measures visits and booked calls that come from our LinkedIn ads, and may be used for ad measurement and retargeting on LinkedIn. See LinkedIn's privacy policy; you can opt out of LinkedIn ad personalization via LinkedIn's opt-out page.
• Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC). Tells us, in aggregate, how visitors reach and move through the site, including which campaign a visit came from. See Google's privacy policy; you can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Both tools give us aggregate numbers, not a profile of you as a person, and blocking them (via the links above, an ad blocker, or your browser's tracking protection) does not change what you can do on this site.

What you may choose to send us

• Scheduling. "Book a Call" links go to Cal.com, a third-party scheduling service. Any information you enter there (name, email, notes) is handled under Cal.com's privacy policy and shared with us so we can hold the meeting.
• Email. If you email us (including BOMs, quotes, CAD, CVs, or OLV Capital interest notes), we use that information solely to evaluate and conduct the engagement or conversation you contacted us about. We treat client materials as confidential, we don't sell personal information, and we don't use your materials for anything beyond the work you sent them for.

Retention & your choices

• We keep correspondence and submitted materials only as long as needed for the purpose you sent them, or as required for legal and accounting reasons.
• You can ask us at any time what we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing anuj@orangelineventures.com. We'll respond as promptly as we reasonably can.
• Depending on where you live (for example the EU/EEA, UK, or California), you may have additional statutory rights over your personal information; we'll honor applicable ones on request.

Terms of Use

• Informational only. The content on this site describes our services in general terms. It is not an offer, a quotation, or professional, legal, financial, or engineering advice for your specific situation. Engagements happen under a separately signed agreement, and that agreement, not this website, governs.
• No warranties. The site is provided "as is." We work to keep it accurate and current, but we make no warranty that it is error-free, and we may change content, packages, or pricing shown here at any time without notice.
• Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Orange Line Ventures is not liable for damages arising from use of, or reliance on, this website itself.
• Intellectual property. The Orange Line Ventures name, wordmark, illustrations, and site content are ours. Please don't reproduce them commercially without permission; a link is always fine.
• Third-party links. Links to external sites (e.g., Cal.com, GitHub, Google) are provided for convenience; we don't control and aren't responsible for their content or practices.

Results Disclaimer

Case-study figures on this site (for example, −30% to −50% reductions) describe specific past engagements, verified in supplier quotes or shipped parts for those clients. They are real, but they are not a promise: every BOM is different, and past results don't guarantee similar outcomes for your product. Where a page uses an illustrative example (such as the $500 sample part on the Get Started page, or the animated $130.28 unit on the homepage), those numbers are for explanation only and are neither our fees nor a projection for your hardware. What we do commit to contractually: on contingent engagements, if we don't create verified savings, you don't pay a success fee.

Accessibility Statement

We want this site to be usable by everyone, and we've built it with accessibility in mind:

• Semantic HTML landmarks, a skip-to-content link, and keyboard-reachable navigation with visible focus states.
• Text alternatives for meaningful images; decorative illustrations (like the homepage factory scene) are marked as such for screen readers, with the same information available as text.
• Animations are reduced or disabled automatically when your system's "reduce motion" preference is on, and the animated homepage has a fully static equivalent on small screens.
• Color choices target WCAG 2.1 AA contrast for body text.

We aim for conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. If you hit anything on this site that's hard to use with assistive technology, or anything that just doesn't work for you, please tell us at anuj@orangelineventures.com and we'll fix it or provide the information another way.
